& sometimes this is the only meal the children eat all
day. Food: Give the Sunday School children a bowl of porridge

Beginning of church service: Church centre isle decorated
with ferns on the floor but with enough room for congregation
to get into pews safely. Bible comes down followed by a child
in costume (with donkey) representing Jesus. Children float
sheets up and down while choir sings Hosanna from the musical
"Jesus Christ Superstar" (as per a scene from the
show). Child pauses to walk through the sheets. Possibly involve
Kidz First in display.Children exit after "The Lord's
Prayer" so no children's talk required.Story: Retrace
Jesus' steps leading up to Easter using Lego display &
picture Bible.

Activity:
Glue Easter egg foil onto a big cardboard cross and next week
hang it from the balcony for Easter service. With Jewish words
on top of cross.Food: Easter Eggs and Easter buns. Drink Communion
juice.Any time left over have an Easter quiz.
